IDENTITY THEFT & OTHER PRIVACY ISSUES
If you think your credit record is bad now, wait until someone steals your
identity. The Identity Theft Resource Center at
www.idtheftcenter.org is there to
help, with guides (how to prevent it and what to do if you're a victim), forms,
shopping tips and even tips on testifying in court. You get solid advice on
protecting yourself and, if your identity is stolen, on cleaning up the mess.
For a one-stop destination for advice on all sorts of privacy issues, from
identity theft to other privacy invasions try the Privacy Rights Clearinghouse
at www.privacyrights.org. Their
no-nonsense Fact Sheets provide real-world help on combating workplace privacy
violations, shopping safely online and more.
Worried about who's looking at your health records and what they're doing
with the data? The Health Privacy Project at
www.healthprivacy.org is a watchdog
group that shows you how to protect your privacy, advocates for changes in laws
and business practices and issues reports that inform (and often sway) policy
makers.

Fraud Alert!
We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming (The Final Installment on
Wireless Lan) to warn you about a prolific scam called “FISHING.”
As many of you know I have been active on Ebay for the past year. I recently
received an email saying if I didn't update my credit card information on Ebay I
would be limited in my buying and selling activities.
Because I am surrounded by great technical minds like our VP of Operations
Jason Ayers, I knew better than to believe this email although it looked
authentic and even had the correct Ebay logos and graphics.
I reasoned that since I knew it was a fraud I could enter in any name and
password and I could enter the site. I was wrong. They actually link and
redirect to the Ebay site and if your name and password doesn't work then you
are not allowed in the site. To see if they could recognize my name and password
I entered it and low and behold I was asked for my credit card information! I
immediately left the site and changed my password for obvious reasons.
According to Kim Kommando (
http://www.komando.com/), there are more than 3 billion similar emails sent
out each month mainly from Eastern Block Countries formerly in the Soviet Union.
If you give these guys your account information, you will likely become a victim
of identity fraud, so beware!
Reputable companies like your Credit Card Company or Ebay would NEVER ask for
your account information by email! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER give anyone that kind of
information through an email solicitation!

Greetings:
My name is Roger Baresel and I serve in a number of capacities here at
FullNet. In addition to being the President of FullNet, I am the Chief Financial
Officer and one of the Directors of our company. It was my good fortune to meet
FullNet's Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Tim Kilkenny in September of 2000
and learn about his exciting vision for FullNet. Shortly thereafter, I came on
board as the Chief Financial Officer and a director of the company. And then in
October of 2003, I assumed the additional responsibilities of serving as the
company's President.
Lots of titles and lots of responsibilities, but my primary responsibility is
to make sure that FullNet is providing reliable and cost effective Internet
connectivity and colocation services, while treating all of our employees,
customers, suppliers and shareholders with the utmost kindness, fairness,
dignity and integrity. It's not as hard as it sounds due to the fact that
everyone here at FullNet is dedicated to the same goal. You won't find a better,
more dedicated group of people anywhere.
In addition to being blessed with the opportunity to work for such a great
company with such an outstanding group of people, I am blessed to have the
support of my lovely wife Judith. We have been married for 26 years and have
five wonderful children and six precious grandchildren. We live in Edmond and
share our home (bed) with several dogs, including a Scottish Deerhound, an
Airedale Terrier and a Wire Haired Fox Terrier. When I can find the time, which
is never as often as I would like, I enjoy working on my golf game (which needs
lots of work).
Please don't hesitate to contact me directly if there is ever anything that I
can do to ensure that we are not just meeting your needs for Internet access,
but exceeding your expectations. Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Roger Baresel
